Privacy, Terms & Client Information

At Soul2Soul Psychology, we are committed to providing psychological services with professionalism, integrity and respect for your privacy. This page explains how your personal information is managed, what you can expect when engaging with our services, and the terms relating to the use of our website and psychological services.

Privacy & Personal Information

To provide psychological services, we collect information that is relevant to your care. This may include your contact details, medical and psychological history, referral information, assessment results, treatment plans and clinical notes.

Your information is collected to provide safe and effective psychological care, communicate with you regarding appointments, liaise with other healthcare professionals (with your consent), and meet our legal, ethical and professional obligations.

Your personal information is stored securely and handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and professional standards governing registered psychologists.

Confidentiality

Your privacy and confidentiality are fundamental to psychological practice.

Information discussed during appointments remains confidential except where disclosure is required or authorised by law, where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or another person, where mandatory reporting obligations apply, where records are subpoenaed by a court, or where you have provided consent for information to be shared with another healthcare provider.

Psychological Services

Psychological treatment is a collaborative process based on informed consent. My approach combines evidence-based psychology with practical strategies and self-awareness to support meaningful and lasting change. You are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively in your treatment and discuss any concerns throughout your care.

Telehealth & Communication

Where appropriate, appointments may be provided via secure telehealth platforms. While every effort is made to protect your privacy, electronic communication cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Email and SMS should not be used for urgent clinical matters or emergencies.

Fees & Cancellations

Fees are payable prior to your appointment unless alternative arrangements have been made.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur the full consultation fee, as the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you.
